EPIC Urges National AI Research Resource to Empower Developers to Design Fair and Accountable AI

Within remarks to the recently established National Artificial Cleverness Research Resource Task Drive, EPIC called on the Job Force to prioritize personal privacy, civil rights, and city liberties by creating assets for companies to develop purposeful, accountable, transparent, and reasonable AI. EPIC also advised the Task Force to provide government bodies with the resources required to impose civil rights and customer protection laws against businesses that deploy AI techniques. EPIC recently submitted feedback to the Office of Management plus Budget as well as the Nationwide Security Commission on Synthetic Intelligence guidance both agencies to follow the particular General Guidelines for AI and to push regarding actionable legal rights to protect towards algorithmic harms.
